Delivery and Returns Shipping and Delivery We know it’s the worst, most unavoidable thing about mail order but at least you don’t have to lug heavy bags about or get wheel clamped! Orders to one specific address up to £50.00 have a £4.50 delivery charge. Orders to one specific address over £50.00 are sent free of charge (Hoorah!). These charges relate to single Mainland UK including the Highlands of Scotland only – for carriage charges to the Islands, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland or Overseas please contact us for specific and weight dependent charges. We will deliver across the globe, but larger delivery charges should be expected. Orders to multiple delivery addresses will, alas, incur the delivery charge unless the goods ordered come to more than £50.00 per delivery address. Delivery Schedule We aim to despatch all orders within 24 hours of receipt. During peak times this may not be possible. If we are unable to despatch your order within 72 hours for any reason we will, of course, contact you to discuss alternatives. If suitable alternatives cannot be made we will arrange a full refund. Please note that we do not make deliveries during the weekend. If there is to be a delay for any reason we will email you. Our couriers will require a signature for all parcels – please ensure someone will be available to receive your order. Back Orders If an item is out of stock we will email you with the option to either cancel your order or we will tell you when we can fulfil it and you may wish to wait for delivery. Refunds and Returns We don’t really operate a formal returns policy… But if you need a refund for any reason whatsoever then please contact us directly on 01258 474300. Phones are manned 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Alternatively you can contact us online. Rather than having a prescriptive policy we’d rather sort out any problems to your satisfaction rather than ours. After all, isn’t that the way it should be? Having said that, we’re obliged to give you the chapter and verse on Cancellation Rights so here goes… We’ve tried to word them sympathetically but it was a bit of a struggle. If you’d like to cancel your order then this policy doesn’t affect your rights when we’re at fault – for example if the items are faulty or described incorrectly. You can cancel your contract (order) any time before delivery and up to 7 working days after delivery. To do this simply email us or drop us a line. We’ll refund your money, including the original postage, within 30 days. If you do cancel then I’m afraid you must return the goods to us at your own expense and you’ll also be responsible for the risk of loss or damage in transit so do, please, ensure you have adequate insurance to cover the value. If you don’t return them we can make arrangements to collect them but we’ll charge you the direct cost of the collection. Since we use a courier firm this is likely to be in the region of £15.00. If reasonable care hasn’t been taken of the goods before we receive them back here which results in damage or deterioration then we’ll charge you for the reduction in value. Phew! We’d rather you just give us a ring with any problems, no matter how trivial, and we’ll do our bestest to sort things out so you’re completely happy.
